Description
The United States Air Force is seeking capable sources for a commercial off-the-shelf, expeditionary, high-resolution industrial Fused Deposition Modeling/Fused Filament Fabrication 3D printer system. The printer must operate on 110–120V power at no more than 20 amps, fit within a 72-by-36-by-36-inch envelope, provide a 10-to-16-inch build volume, and include an enclosed actively heated chamber, heated build plate, dual extrusion with automatic model-to-support changeover, interchangeable tips, dedicated thermoplastic, carbon-fiber, and elastomer print heads, automated calibration, specified layer thickness and accuracy, and compatibility with ABS, ABS-CF, ASA, PC-ABS, PA-CF, mineral-filled nylon, TPU, breakaway support, and soluble support materials. The requirement also includes licensed file-processing and slicing software, warranty information, on-site assembly/startup and test printing, technical training for at least four individuals, and an initial and additional consumables/accessories package. Respondents must provide corporate information, UEI and CAGE code, business size, applicable contract vehicles, a completed technical compliance matrix, remote-support capabilities, and up to three examples of similar systems supplied within the past three years.
