Description
The University of Wisconsin–La Crosse seeks vendors to provide motor coach and school bus transportation for campus-related trips, including athletics, classes, and special activities. Trips may involve intrastate and interstate travel, extended stays, layovers, and multiple buses operating simultaneously. Vendors must provide buses, drivers, fuel, maintenance, and related materials; maintain sufficient fleet capacity; and meet specified vehicle age, safety, accessibility, equipment, driver-qualification, and licensing requirements. Motor coaches must provide operational Wi-Fi and electrical outlets at no additional cost. The University does not guarantee a minimum number of trips or spending. Bidders must submit pricing for school bus, local coach, and multiple-day coach services, including applicable mileage, hourly, minimum, and additional charges. The response must include the completed rate sheet and cost-comparison sheet, a fleet listing, a preventative-maintenance description, a technical proposal, and the required vendor information and reference details. The contract is intended to begin October 17, 2027, and run through June 30, 2028, with four additional one-year renewal terms. A minimum annual athletic sponsorship payment of $15,000 is also required under the contract terms.
