Description
The Army is conducting market research for certified instructors and training materials to deliver and certify firefighters in seven IFSAC- and NFPA-accredited courses: Fire Inspector, Fire Instructor I, Fire Officer I, Fire Department ISO, Pumper Apparatus Driver/Operator, Mobile Water Supply Apparatus Driver/Operator, and ARFF Apparatus Driver/Operator. Course durations range from 16 to 40 hours. The training is to be conducted at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. This is a sources-sought notice, not a solicitation for bids or proposals. Interested firms are asked to provide company and small-business information, indicate their interest in competing as a prime and any teaming plans, describe relevant experience and certifications, identify potential competition restrictions, and recommend improvements to the draft performance work statement. The Army is considering a small-business set-aside if responses demonstrate adequate competition.
