Description
Forsyth County is soliciting bids for turnkey replacement of synthetic athletic turf at Coal Mountain Park, Fowler Park, Midway Park, and Sawnee Mountain Park. The work includes removal and disposal of existing turf and infill; field-base preparation and minor repairs; installation of new polyethylene turf with non-perforated backing, engineered granular infill, seams, inlays, field markings, cleanup, permits, warranties, and protection of existing drainage and adjacent improvements. Bidders may price a base three-layer infill system and Alternate No. 1, a two-layer system. The County may award locations individually or as a combined award. The proposed turf must be new and suitable for outdoor athletic use, with specified minimum fiber height, face weight, coating, and infill characteristics. A representative physical turf sample and manufacturer product data are required before bid closing. The work must be completed by March 26, 2027, and the contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals.
