Description
The National Park Service is seeking a small-business contractor to perform corrective repairs and code-compliance work on the underground fuel storage tank system at Glacier Bay National Park. The work includes replacing noncompliant drop tubes with compatible straight four-inch drop tubes, performing associated piping and manway work, minor excavation where needed, restoring disturbed areas, verifying secure and leak-free connections, and completing applicable Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation documentation. The tanks will not need to be emptied or lowered, and the contractor may field-verify dimensions and provide compatible components meeting the Statement of Work. This is a firm-fixed-price commercial-services requirement for a contractor certified as an Alaska UST inspector/installer. The quote must include a technical project narrative, staff/crew qualifications, intended subcontractor or partner information, preferably three similar projects from the past five years with points of contact, the completed solicitation content and price schedule, contractor core data, and acknowledgment of Amendment 0001. The total small-business set-aside remains in effect; no bid, payment, or performance bonds are required. The estimated performance period is September 23 through November 1, 2026.
