The U.S. Navy is seeking thirty-five annual PTC Arbortext Editor software license renewals to support the continuous authoring, editing, validation, and updating of Combat Systems Operational Sequencing System technical documents for Navy surface combatants. The estimated total value is $27,051.15. The required software must create, edit, and maintain XML technical documents using the existing customized CSOSS Document Type Definition architecture; validate document structure; preserve compatibility with established stylesheet configurations and document-production workflows; and operate as a locally installed workstation application on Navy Marine Corps Intranet assets. The notice states that PTC Arbortext Editor is the only product identified as compatible with the existing technical environment without substantial redesign, revalidation, or workflow disruption, and that the acquisition is intended as a sole-source purchase from Immix Technology, Inc.
