Description
The Veterans Benefits Administration is seeking 94 brand-name-or-equal nonpowered hand tools and associated items for its St. Petersburg Regional Benefits Office. The solicitation identifies Snap-on part numbers and item descriptions; equal products must meet the stated salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics, be identified by brand and make or model, and include descriptive literature and details of any proposed modifications. Unless an offer clearly identifies an equal product, the referenced brand-name product is required. All tools must be delivered within 45 days after contract award during normal working hours, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The offeror is responsible for shipping and handling charges and for loss or damage until final inspection and acceptance. Standard manufacturer components and accessories are required unless superseded by the item specifications.
