Description
The City of Coffeyville, Kansas, is soliciting sealed bids for the complete demolition and removal of six specified properties, including residences, a manufactured home, accessory structures, foundations, slabs, fencing, vegetation, debris, and other associated improvements. The work includes hauling and disposal at an approved landfill, removal and compliant disposal of transite siding and other asbestos-containing materials when applicable, utility disconnection, structural shoring, dust and environmental controls, protection of adjacent property and public areas, and site cleanup. The contractor must complete required backfilling, compaction, grading, drainage improvements, topsoil placement, grass seeding, and mulching. The bid schedule requires prices for each individual structure and a total price for all properties, along with disposal-site information, project schedule information, contractor details, proof of liability and workers’ compensation insurance, and proof of asbestos certifications and training. The bid package requires one signed copy of the completed Bid Schedule and bids must remain valid for 60 days.
