Description
The City of Lakeland is soliciting bids for 69 kV circuit breakers under a multi-year purchasing agreement. The requested equipment includes two configurations: 2,000-ampere breakers with either 48 VDC or 125 VDC control voltage. Each breaker must be three-phase, 60 Hz, suitable for outdoor use on a solidly grounded system with a maximum line-to-line voltage of 72.5 kV, and designed for three-pole gang tripping and closing. The interrupter medium may be sulfur hexafluoride gas or vacuum, with dead-tank construction. The equipment must meet detailed electrical, mechanical, safety, testing, packaging, documentation, and delivery requirements, including applicable ANSI, IEEE, NEMA, ASME, and other listed standards. Bidders must provide technical bidding forms, pricing, equipment and performance data, delivery information, descriptive literature, exceptions, and prior-project information. The bid package also requires insurance evidence, a completed and notarized indemnification agreement, a completed and notarized human-trafficking affidavit, a W-9, business-registration documentation, and other electronic questionnaire certifications. The agreement has a one-year base term and may be renewed for four additional one-year periods by mutual consent, not to exceed five years.
