Description
This Sources Sought Notice seeks market research responses for a potential comprehensive facility support services contract at the Santa Cruz Laboratory of NOAA Fisheries' Southwest Fisheries Science Center. The requirement covers landscaping and grounds maintenance; preventive maintenance, testing, refueling, and emergency repair services for emergency generators, automatic transfer switches, UPS systems, fuel systems, and facility electrical distribution; and preventive maintenance, inspection, repair, and emergency response for HVAC, plumbing, lift stations, sewer systems, hydronic systems, and related mechanical equipment. Option Year 1 work may include parking lot asphalt sealcoating, crack filling, and restriping; sanitary sewer surveying and corrective work; hose bib flow investigation and repair; flushing 64 hydronic baseboard radiators; storm lift station restoration and controls replacement; and mold remediation and interior repairs in four offices. The draft performance work statement requires on-site performance, qualified and appropriately licensed personnel, 24/7 emergency response for critical systems, detailed maintenance and repair reporting, and compliance with applicable safety, environmental, licensing, and code requirements. Responses are limited to eight PDF pages excluding the cover page and should describe the firm's capabilities, relevant experience, business size and certifications, likelihood of responding to a future solicitation, and information needed to prepare a quote.
