Description
Kern County is soliciting a quote for one new, unused, current-model Class 7712 straight dump truck with a 26,001–33,000-pound GVWR and a 5–6 cubic-yard dump body. The specifications detail chassis, engine, transmission, safety, and body requirements; equivalent items may be offered, subject to the County’s determination of compliance. Bidders must provide a certified emissions rating form or a manufacturer emissions form certified by California, and identify any exceptions to the specifications. The vehicle must be delivered to the County’s General Services Fleet for inspection and acceptance. The bidder must complete and submit the County quotation request and specification sheets, including pricing and required signatures. A local vendor preference worksheet may be submitted if the bidder wishes to claim applicable preferences.
