Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole-source, open-market purchase order for as-needed histopathology testing services. The contractor will perform and monitor tests and report findings for the VA Western New York Healthcare System, serving Buffalo and Finger Lakes VA medical centers. The stated period runs from the date of award through May 31, 2027; a longer-term contract is planned after this bridge contract expires. This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive quotes. Interested firms that believe they can meet the requirements may submit written capability information before the response deadline. The government will decide at its discretion whether to compete the procurement.
