Description
Pioneer Preparatory School is requesting proposals for Category One internet access and Category Two managed internal broadband services for its existing network. Proposals must provide pricing in 1 Gbps increments from 1 Gbps through 5 Gbps and offer one-, three-, and five-year contract options. Longer-term options must allow bandwidth upgrades during the contract term. The scope includes internet bandwidth, direct handoff to the school’s local area network, special construction and installation such as trenching, conduit, fiber, splicing, termination, labeling, testing, and acceptance, as well as network equipment, software, maintenance, outage reporting, technical support, service-level commitments, and project management. Managed services must include ongoing monitoring, configuration management, troubleshooting, repairs, software updates, security patches, performance reporting, incident records, and remote and on-site technical support. Vendors must be registered with USAC and have a valid SPIN, comply with E-Rate and FCC supply-chain requirements, and submit the required E-Rate Service Provider Bid Response Worksheet. Pricing must itemize eligible and ineligible costs, equipment and service details, installation, testing, taxes, fees, and shipping. The contract is contingent on E-Rate funding.
