Description
Forrest General Hospital is soliciting a contractor for non-hazardous solid waste hauling, disposal, recycling, container provision, and pickup services at multiple hospitals, clinics, offices, and other facilities in Mississippi. The scope includes front-load containers, compactors, permanent and temporary roll-offs, a shredder, scheduled and on-call pickups, weigh tickets, disposal permitting, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Additional locations may be added, and the awarded vendor may need to replace compactors at Highland Community Hospital, the Orthopedic Institute, and Pearl River County Hospital. The contractor must provide pricing for container, compactor, roll-off, hauling, rental, disposal, and shredding services; submit a sample monthly invoice; provide a service representative; and register with the hospital's vendor credentialing program. Pricing is to remain firm for the initial one-year term, with possible one-year extensions for up to two additional years. A certificate of insurance is required, including workers' compensation as required by Mississippi law, commercial general liability of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate, and automobile liability of at least $1,000,000.
