Description
The City of Mason is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the Snider Road Improvement Project - Phase 2. Work includes widening the roadway; removing and replacing storm sewer conduits, manholes, catch basins, and related structures; replacing and constructing curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and driveway aprons; and planing, repairing, resurfacing, and marking pavement. The project also includes water main replacement and installation, service connections, fire hydrants, and associated appurtenances, as well as sanitary sewer adjustments, electrical and street-lighting work, traffic control, erosion control, and restoration. The plans and specifications define the detailed scope and quantities. Bidders must submit the printed proposal forms included in the contract documents, the complete contract document, and a bid guaranty. The bid guaranty is 10% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must provide performance and maintenance bonds, each equal to the contract price. The contractor must be ODOT pre-qualified and comply with applicable prevailing-wage requirements. The stated completion deadline is December 31, 2027; work is expected to begin on or about January 14, 2027, subject to the Notice to Proceed.
