Description
The California Department of General Services, through its Real Estate Services Division and Project Management and Development Branch, is requesting Statements of Qualifications from architectural and engineering firms for a new approximately 59,000-square-foot, two-story Battalion Headquarters Readiness Center. The project includes architecture and integrated civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, telecommunications, security electronics, geotechnical, environmental, and sustainability engineering, along with site development across approximately 5.6 acres. The selected firm will provide professional design and related services for preliminary plans, working drawings, bidding support, cost estimates, and construction support for a design-bid-build project. The facility must meet Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria, antiterrorism and force-protection standards, California Title 24, and LEED v5 Gold requirements. The SOQ must include a letter of interest, executive summary, SF 330 forms, qualifications narrative, specified certifications and registrations, and other required forms and documentation. One electronic PDF copy must be uploaded through the designated Box.com site by the stated deadline.
