Description
The Jet Propulsion Laboratory is conducting sources-sought market research to identify small businesses, small-business joint ventures, and teams led by small businesses with experience supporting spacecraft chemical and electric propulsion systems throughout the design, development, integration, test, qualification, and flight-readiness lifecycle. Relevant capabilities include propulsion architecture and requirements, thruster and feed-system design, subsystem engineering, modeling and simulation, power processing and propellant systems, hardware fabrication and assembly support, environmental and performance testing, failure analysis, and verification. Particularly relevant experience includes Hall thrusters, plasma diagnostics, vacuum facilities, and spacecraft-plume interaction testing. Interested companies must complete the provided capabilities questionnaire, including company information, socioeconomic classifications, teaming information, capability responses for ten scope areas, and up to three past-performance examples, then submit it by email. This is market research only; the notice states that there is no commitment to issue a subsequent RFI or RFP.
