Description
The U.S. Navy, through the NATO SEASPARROW Project Office, is conducting market research for development, production, and in-service support of a Next Significant Variant of the Evolved SEASPARROW Missile. Responses may address a complete guided missile assembly or individual subsystems, including the airframe, propulsion, guidance/navigation/control, seeker, kill mechanism, actuation, datalink/communications, and software architecture. The missile must fit within a 10-inch diameter launch envelope, support operation against varied current and future threats and contested natural, radio-frequency, electro-optical, and infrared environments, and be releasable to all twelve NATO SEASPARROW consortium nations. The Government is seeking open, modular, standards-driven architectures aligned with a Modular Open Systems Approach, along with maximum Government rights in technical data, software, source code, design artifacts, and interface specifications. The capabilities statement must describe relevant hardware, software, firmware, modeling and simulation, international program, manufacturing, testing, export-control, subcontracting, cost, schedule, technical, technology-readiness, manufacturing-readiness, supply-chain, and data-rights capabilities. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research and planning, not a request for proposal, and no funding or award is associated with the notice.
