Description
The City of Stonecrest is soliciting formal bids for a fixed, one-time construction project involving roadway and parking-lot resurfacing within the city. The work covers approximately 12,795 feet of roadway, or about 4.85 lane miles, plus three existing park parking lots. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, traffic control, and incidentals. The scope includes pavement assessment and cleaning; milling; asphalt patching and leveling; graded aggregate base work where required; resurfacing with recycled hot-mix asphalt; tack coat; manhole, storm-drain, curb, and gutter adjustments or repairs; temporary and permanent striping; thermoplastic pavement markings; raised pavement markers; traffic-signal loop repairs caused by the work; maintenance of traffic; utility coordination; debris removal; and restoration of damaged property. Substantial completion is expected within 60 calendar days and final completion within 90 calendar days after the contract time begins. The solicitation requires a 5% bid bond, 100% performance and payment bonds, proof of insurability, a bonding-capacity letter, contractor licensing, safety compliance, onsite maintenance, and employee background checks.
