Description
New Brunswick Power Corporation is seeking proposals for the design, manufacture, factory assembly, testing, packaging, shipping, and delivery of four new 5,250-horsepower, 13.2 kV, three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors for the boiler feedwater system at Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station. The motors must be direct replacements compatible with the existing plant interfaces, foundation, electrical supply, oil system, instrumentation, and driven equipment, with no adapters or modifications to existing equipment. The scope includes required instrumentation, terminal boxes, vibration and shaft-displacement monitoring, partial-discharge couplers, space heaters, bearings, cabling, documentation, warranty, and installation and commissioning support information. Proposals must demonstrate relevant experience, including five successful large horizontal motor projects installed in North America and operating for at least 10 years, plus two similar projects completed within the past three years. Vendors must provide a completed questionnaire, pricing form, technical compliance matrix, electronically signed proposal submission form, quality manual, evidence of ISO 9001:2015 or an approved equivalent quality program, technical descriptions and drawings, schedules, testing plans, shipping details, warranty information, and required compliance documentation. The proposal must be submitted through the procurement platform in the required file formats; email, facsimile, and paper submissions are not accepted.
