Description
The City of Huron is soliciting Letters of Interest (LOI) for Construction Inspection and Construction Administration services for the South Main Street Streetscape Project. This project, located in Erie County, spans approximately 1250 feet and includes roadway repaving, streetscape enhancements such as a multi-use path, decorative lighting, wayfinding signage, and landscaping. The estimated construction cost is $2,154,474.00. Firms must be pre-qualified by the Ohio Department of Transportation in categories including Project Inspector, Construction Engineer Level 2, and Construction Management Firm. Financial Management System Evaluation pre-qualification is also required for the prime consultant and any sub-consultants providing engineering and design-related services. The selected consultant will be responsible for contract administration duties, including managing the construction contract, daily field engineering and inspection, materials management and testing, project documentation, progress meetings, payment processing, change order negotiation, claims management, prevailing wage compliance, and EEO contract compliance. The scope also includes providing necessary inspection and testing equipment.
