Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking industry capability information for 21 patient safety lift systems, including ceiling-mounted hoists, XY systems, linear tracks, medium hanger bars, patient lift supports rated for 550 and 825 pounds, a trainer module motor, 84 polypropylene slings, installation hardware and labor, removal of 18 existing lift systems, stamped engineering calculations, weight testing and certification, and user training. Systems must support specified room coverage and mounting configurations, comply with ISOA 10535:2021, provide emergency lowering, emergency stop, overload protection, continuous in-rail charging, LCD usage and weight displays, and Wi-Fi-enabled monitoring and data logging. Installation must support Level II Infection Control Risk Assessment requirements. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research only; proposals are not being requested and no contract will be awarded from this notice. Respondents must provide company and point-of-contact information, SAM UEI, performance capability documentation, socioeconomic status, place of manufacture, and other pertinent company documentation. SDVOSB and VOSB respondents must also provide proof of SBA Vet Cert registration.
