Description
The City of Long Beach Department of Public Works is soliciting a contractor for the removal and disposal of the existing Berth 1 dock gangway, gangway hinge, Berth 2 dock, gangway, gangway hinge, and utilities. The project includes installation of a new concrete dock and abutment, aluminum gangway and hinge, potable water system, sewage pump-out system, firewater system, electrical system, LED and navigation lighting, guardrails, sidewalks, curbs, handrails, a curb ramp, pavement markings, trash receptacles, signage, and irrigation repairs. The scope also includes temporary security fencing, demolition and disposal, mobilization and demobilization, cleaning, and trash removal. The solicitation identifies 28 bid items and permits electronic quotes. The contract period is explicitly stated as December 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027.
