The U.S. Army is soliciting a portable Heat Star HSP150R multi-fuel radiant heater with two-stage operation and adjustable heat output from 102,000 to 150,000 BTU per hour. The heater must operate on JP-8 (Jet A), diesel, and K-1 kerosene, with fuel consumption of 0.72 gallons per hour on low and 1.06 gallons per hour on high, and have a 14-gallon fuel tank. The unit must operate at 140 psi on low and 200 psi on high, use single-phase 120V, 60Hz power at 1.25A, and include a solid spray-pattern nozzle with an 80-degree spray angle and 0.75-gallon-per-hour capacity. Required dimensions are approximately 37.5 by 27.5 by 39.5 inches, with a dry weight of 110 pounds and a full diesel weight of 210 pounds.
