Description
The City seeks qualified contractors to provide labor-only air conditioning, heating, chiller, and commercial refrigeration repair and troubleshooting services on an as-needed basis. Work may involve various makes and models of systems. The agreement is non-exclusive and does not guarantee work; projects will be authorized individually through written notices to proceed, with quotes requested for each project. Contractors must start work within 10 days after a notice to proceed. If the City authorizes the contractor to purchase parts for a repair, the purchase is limited to $5,000 per repair with no markup over invoice cost. Proposers must provide a price schedule for mechanic and helper/laborer hourly rates, including normal and overtime/holiday rates. The response must also address qualifications and experience, technical approach, project scheduling, and relevant personnel. Required Louisiana licenses and other credentials must be submitted with the proposal. The initial agreement is described as a 12-month term, with an option for a one-year extension and possible month-to-month extensions; the attached agreement also states an annual cap of $350,000.
