Description
The City of Hialeah is soliciting a quotation for comprehensive rehabilitation of a homeowner-occupied residence under its SHIP Program. The work includes mold remediation; replacement of 13 windows and one exterior door; rain-gutter replacement; exterior and interior painting; popcorn-ceiling removal and drywall repairs; kitchen remodeling and electrical repairs; bathroom remodeling; hallway tile and baseboard repairs; pressure cleaning of metal porch roofs; partial repair and painting of a wood canopy; and demolition and removal of a deteriorated rear storage building. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, code compliance, and any required architectural or engineering services. Mold remediation must follow the assessment report and IICRC S520 procedures, including containment, HEPA filtration, removal of affected materials, cleaning, moisture-source correction, and post-remediation verification. The solicitation requires applicable Florida contractor licensing, a Business Tax Receipt, relevant experience and references, insurance documentation, and electronic completion of the required quote forms and pricing proposal. Work is to reach substantial completion within 60 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
