Description
The City of Modesto is soliciting bids for replacement of all sports-field lighting lamps at two ballfields at Beyer Community Park and one ballfield at Downey Community Park. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, vehicles, fuel, tools, and necessary lift equipment to complete the work, including replacement of 150 estimated 1,500-watt metal halide lamps and mobilization and equipment. The bid also includes unit pricing for replacement of an estimated 15 ballasts, to be authorized by the City on an as-needed basis if lamp replacement does not restore lighting. Required submittals include the make and model of the proposed lamps and replacement ballasts. The project requires prevailing wages, a California C-10 contractor's license, California public-works registration, applicable permits, and specified insurance coverage.
