Description
The University of Utah, on behalf of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network consortium, is soliciting proposals for wide-area-network services, leased lit-fiber Ethernet, shared UETN backbone connections, standalone Internet access, and Category One network equipment. The procurement covers numerous participating schools, libraries, charter organizations, tribal entities, and other eligible locations, with requested capacities ranging from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps and Internet access ranging from 50 Gbps to 100 Gbps. Wireless service is not accepted, and dark fiber is excluded unless specifically requested. Existing network nodes may also be proposed with associated monthly maintenance and technical support. WAN and backbone pricing is requested for five years with one optional one-year extension, while Internet access pricing is requested for three years with two sequential one-year extensions, subject to alternate terms identified in the applicable attachments. Vendors must provide firm, all-inclusive recurring and non-recurring pricing, submit applicable cost proposals separately from the technical proposal, and comply with the RFP, Attachments A, B, and F, the Exception/Compliance Summary, addenda, E-Rate requirements, and applicable procurement restrictions. E-Rate-supported vendors must have a USAC-issued SPIN and maintain a current FCC Form 473/SPAC; SAM.gov registration and documentation may also be required when federal funding is used.
