Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting competitive quotes for the replacement of dental air compressor equipment at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System. The scope includes two 5 HP duplex scroll compressor units with tanks, locally purchased piping and electrical supplies, labor to remove the existing compressors and install the new compressors, and one Powerex dew point monitor. The compressors are located in the Outpatient Building, floor 8J100, and delivery is required by October 31, 2026. The procurement is a 100% set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The contract period is 30 days, from October 1 through October 31, 2026. A site visit is scheduled for September 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.; attendees must provide company-name confirmation at least 24 hours in advance for security access. The amendment states that no bid bond is required and extends the quote deadline to September 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time.
