Description
The Los Angeles Harbor Department seeks a consultant to investigate personnel complaints assigned by the Los Angeles Port Police. Work includes reviewing complaint documents and evidence, identifying relevant individuals, obtaining statements, conducting interviews, preparing interview transcripts, and producing case reports with specified investigative sections. Reports must be delivered in hard-copy and electronic formats, and investigations must comply with applicable law and Port Police procedures. The consultant must be available to provide services after normal business hours and on weekends and holidays. The expected contract duration is three years from execution.
