Description
The United States Navy is procuring three clamping rings under NSN 1350-01-671-1961. The items must meet specified drawing, design, manufacturing, performance, marking, packaging, and quality requirements, including an ISO 9001 quality system or permitted MIL-I-45208 inspection-system requirements. Materials must be free of metallic mercury and mercury contamination, and packaging and marking must comply with applicable military standards. First Article Testing and Production Lot Testing are required. One unit must be provided for each nondestructive government test, with test samples returned after testing. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item will be considered, and proof of authorized-distributor status on company letterhead, signed by a responsible company official, must accompany the offer. Amendment 0006 extends the offer deadline to October 22, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time and requires acknowledgment of the amendment.
