Description
The project seeks pricing and proposals for a range of construction-site services and work: water trucks with operators for dust control and compaction support; mechanical street sweeping; off-hours site security; temporary sanitary facilities; construction hauling with drivers; storm-drain video inspection and recording; hydroseeding and tack-and-mulch work; and furnishing and installing temporary construction fencing and gates. Several scopes are described as ongoing and as-needed on a multi-year construction project. The Schedule of Values requests hourly, monthly, unit, or mobilization pricing and, for some scopes, quantities or equipment availability. The resulting work is subject to the agency’s Small Business Enterprise participation goal, local construction workforce hiring goal, and prevailing-wage requirements. The SBE participation goal is 50%, with good-faith efforts required when the goal cannot be met; the project also has a 50% local-hire goal. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with applicable labor standards and certified-payroll reporting requirements.
