The City of Douglasville and the Douglasville Convention and Conference Center Authority are seeking Statements of Qualification and Conceptual Information (SQCP) from experienced developers for a proposed hotel development in downtown Douglasville, Georgia. The site is located one block from the recently renovated Douglasville Conference Center and two blocks from the Douglasville Town Green and Greystone Amphitheater. The development should include a minimum of 65 rooms and at least 3,000 square feet of meeting space, with amenities such as a business center, fitness center, small sundry shop, and ample complimentary parking. The city encourages integration of local art and sustainable design. This is a two-step process: Step One involves submitting qualifications and conceptual information, and Step Two will involve detailed proposals from selected developers. The city offers incentives including flexible compensation terms, low-cost loan funds, and potential Tax Allocation District (TAD) financing.
