Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is preparing an unrestricted, firm-fixed-price procurement for 2027–2029 maintenance dredging at Anchorage Harbor and the Cook Inlet Navigation Channel. The work includes surveying, dredging, and disposal of approximately 900,000 cubic yards of fine-grained shoaled material annually for three years, with an option for approximately 350,000 cubic yards of sandy material with some cobbles annually in the navigation channel. The contractor must keep the Port of Alaska dock face and terminals accessible to shipping traffic at all times. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision, and related services. Only hopper or mechanical dredges may be used; cutterhead, suction, and pipeline dredges are prohibited. Construction wage rates apply. The estimated construction magnitude is $25 million to $100 million, and the project is contingent on funding availability. The anticipated solicitation download date is on or after October 27, 2026. The future solicitation will require electronic submission through the PIEE Solicitation Module.
