Description
Richardson Independent School District is soliciting proposals from multiple vendors for comprehensive catering services supporting meetings, staff development, training events, holiday celebrations, and other district functions. Required offerings may include buffet and sit-down service, breakfast items, fresh fruit, vegetable, cheese, and meat trays, box lunches, pizza, deli sandwiches, and cakes. Vendors must provide freshly prepared food, accommodate dietary restrictions, comply with food-safety requirements, and deliver orders with serving utensils and supplies at specified times and locations. Setup, breakdown, and serving staff may be required for larger events. Vendors must be able to serve district campuses and departments throughout the district, maintain required food-service certifications and permits, and provide a current health inspection report, health department permit, food handling certificate, certificate of insurance, and catering menu with pricing. The district anticipates multiple awards, makes no minimum purchase or volume guarantee, and reported $443,145.01 in catering expenditures during the 2024–2025 school year. The agreement ends June 30, 2031, and pricing discounts must remain firm for one year after award. Vendors with operations within reasonable driving distance are preferred, and delivery to all district learning communities is evaluated.
