Description
Isabella County seeks a contractor to provide seasonal snow and sleet removal, salt application, and snow-pile hauling at two county-owned parking facilities: the Isabella County Building/County Courthouse and the former Sheriff's Department/Jail parking lot. Services include clearing designated traffic areas, driveways, entrances, and parking lots by 7:00 a.m. after qualifying snow events, additional as-needed removal during work hours, salt application meeting Michigan Department of Transportation specifications, and loading, transporting, and disposing of snow piles within 24 hours of notice. The contractor is responsible for repairing damage caused by snow-removal operations and must comply with applicable Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. The service period is October 1, 2026, through April 15, 2027. Bidders must submit the required certifications, compliance certificate, detailed cost bid, IRS Form W-9, at least three references for similar work, and a bid bond if required. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds and required insurance after award. Subcontracting or delegation is prohibited without prior written county permission.
