Description
Scott County seeks a food supplier to provide a broad range of food products for its Youth Justice and Rehabilitation Center, including meats, prepared foods, canned vegetables, fruit, snacks, and whole-grain breads. Attachment B lists estimated annual quantities and requires unit pricing and product/package details. Orders will be placed weekly throughout the year, and the County may award all or part of the requested items. The supplier must deliver once per week on a consistent weekday and within a designated time outside 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Products must meet Iowa Child Nutrition Program requirements, include accessible nutrition labeling, and comply with the shipping, packaging, and quality requirements. Fresh fruit must be sourced from the United States. Vendors must complete the pricing worksheet and functional requirements response; freight and fuel costs should be included in item prices, with any per-delivery charge identified separately. The contract is for one year, with annual renewal opportunities for up to two additional years, and services are intended to begin January 1, 2027.
