Description
The City of Newport Beach is seeking qualified firms to provide social media management, strategy, planning, editorial calendars, copywriting, platform-specific messaging, graphic design, photography, video, short-form multimedia content, public information, educational and promotional communications, recruitment content, community engagement, event coverage, interviews, community management, social listening, paid social media support, audience analysis, accessibility support, analytics, reporting, and quick-turn or after-hours communications support. Services may be proposed for the City, the Newport Beach Police Department, the Newport Beach Fire Department, or any combination of the three, with content tailored for Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, qualified personnel across public information and digital content disciplines, three satisfactory similar-service references from the past three years or satisfactory City experience, and the ability to meet the stated insurance requirements. The response must include a response file addressing firm and key-personnel qualifications, references, subcontractor relationships, and project approach; a separate cost file; required City forms; the completed and signed Insurance Requirements and Attestation Form; and a signed Addendum 1 acknowledgment attached to the end of the proposal. The proposed contract term is one year with two additional one-year renewal options, and the City may make multiple awards.
