Description
The City of Idaho Falls is soliciting sealed proposals for a minimum of 2,000 tons of road salt, primarily for the 2026–2027 winter season. The salt must be treated with Y.P.S. anticaking agent and contain no more than 5% moisture. Bidders must provide a product data sheet with the proposal and firm pricing per ton. Deliveries must be made during Street Division working hours unless arranged at least 48 hours in advance. Weigh tickets must be provided before unloading, split loads are prohibited, and the supplier must balance delivered tonnage with the Street Division before invoicing. The City may purchase all, some, or none of the stated quantity, and the successful bidder must remain capable of supplying the minimum quantity during the bid period.
