Description
Hertford County is seeking qualifications from a properly licensed North Carolina engineering firm to serve as the owner's advisor for a publicly owned industrial dock and associated public access road. The project is expected to include a dock, barge, maritime cranes, utilities, and a new road capable of supporting industrial loads. The anticipated project budget is $40 million for the dock and $11 million for the road. Potential services include developing project criteria, design administration, reviewing equipment and material specifications, construction administration, reviewing costs and schedules, commissioning, risk management, and related support. Respondents must demonstrate relevant experience, including at least six representative projects from the last 10 years, with specified dock or marine/waterfront and owner's-advisor experience. The response must include a cover letter, background questionnaire, relevant experience, project team information, resumes, and firm reputation information. No price information or work product should be submitted.
