Description
The City of Chesapeake Office of Emergency Management is seeking vendors to furnish civilian-grade Meals Ready to Eat with flameless heaters, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, chicken, beef, pork, and vegetarian entrees. Meals must be delivered in bulk to City facilities or designated points of distribution as directed by the Office of Emergency Management, generally within 24 hours after an order is received. The solicitation establishes a three-year, nonexclusive indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with no renewal options. Estimated quantities are provided for bid comparison only and are not guaranteed; task orders will be issued based on emergency needs. Vendors must submit pricing, the required signature page, references, delivery-capability response, required certifications and disclosures, and applicable supporting documentation through the City's electronic procurement portal.
