Description
Calaveras County is soliciting construction bids for improvements at the Wilseyville Transfer Station. The base bid includes traffic control, erosion control, job-site management, asphalt-concrete removal and sawcutting, aggregate base, 45 cubic yards of 9-inch-deep reinforced concrete paving, rebar, and mobilization. The work supports the facility's receipt and processing of appliances, electronics, and other electronic waste. Additive alternates include a powered electrical awning, two 20-foot Connex storage containers, and a 2,500-gallon water tank with plumbing, sand, and a redwood frame for fire and dust suppression. The contractor must possess a Class A general engineering contractor license or qualifying Class C licenses, comply with prevailing-wage and public-works registration requirements, and complete the base work within 30 working days, plus five additional working days for each awarded alternate. The estimated contract cost is $211,534.00.
