Description
The City of Pasadena is procuring materials for ADA-accessible pedestrian signals, including 144 touchless APS pedestrian push buttons, 20 pedestrian push button control unit kits compatible with Caltrans Type 332 controller cabinets, one Type 2 pedestrian push button post, one No. 3 traffic-signal pull box, and approximately 10 linear feet of 1.5-inch galvanized steel conduit. Materials must meet the detailed technical specifications, including accessibility, environmental, electrical, audio, visual, wireless configuration, and durability requirements. The supplier must provide new, current-model materials, factory warranties, and warranty letters or certificates of compliance for the push buttons and control units. All materials require City review and approval before ordering and must be delivered to the designated City facility under the stated delivery conditions. The bid is evaluated primarily on the lowest responsive and responsible grand total price, with pricing entered electronically in the procurement portal; a five-percent electronic bid bond is required.
