Description
The district is soliciting five separate prime contracts: general construction, including asbestos abatement; mechanical work at Seely Place Elementary School, Greenville Elementary School, and the Jr./Sr. High School; and electrical work. The project includes district-wide security upgrades, including doors, access controls, cameras, and related systems, as well as HVAC replacements and upgrades, electrical work, and associated building renovations. The specifications also describe fire alarm, communications, and public-address system work and coordination with existing district systems. Bidders must submit the applicable architect-provided bid form, required bid supplements and certifications, and bid security. The bid package requires two executed copies in a sealed, opaque envelope; the bid bond is 10% of the bid amount, and bidders must provide proof of ability to furnish 100% performance and labor-and-material payment bonds.
