Description
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency intends to issue a sole-source bridge contract to Leidos to continue Foundation Sustainment Services (FS2) until a follow-on competitive IDIQ is awarded. The requirement covers integration, software maintenance, operations support, and limited development needed to sustain existing operational and modernized mission capabilities for the Source Directorate and its mission partners. Supported Mapping, Charting, and Geodesy mission areas include aeronautical, maritime, topographic, geopolitical geography, elevation, geodesy, and controlled imagery. The contract is expected to use cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-reimbursement, and time-and-materials arrangements, with a 12-month base period and an anticipated ordering period from April 2027 through April 2028. This is a notice of intent to sole source, not a request for competitive proposals; interested parties may submit capabilities information, although the agency identifies the incumbent as the only responsible source capable of providing uninterrupted performance.
