Description
Baltimore County is seeking a one-time purchase of three 12-inch non-rising stem flange gate valves with handwheels. Valves must meet AWWA C515, use flanged end connections conforming to ANSI B16.1 Class 125/150 drilling, operate open-left, and include a ductile iron body and bonnet, fusion-bonded epoxy coating complying with AWWA C550, and an EPDM-encapsulated ductile iron wedge. The specifications identify a working pressure generally ranging from 250 to 300 PSI depending on the application class. The quoted price must include delivery. The successful bidder must inspect, clean, lubricate, and pre-delivery service each unit; direct factory drop shipments will not be accepted. Equivalent items may be considered if descriptive literature and specifications accompany the bid. The solicitation also requires a First Source Hiring Agreement, at least two similar references from the past 18 months, a Taxpayer Identification Number Form, and a Proposal Signature Cover Page.
