Description
Letcher County Fiscal Court seeks a qualified environmental professional, licensed by the Division of Air Quality and accredited in Kentucky, to survey up to 150 residential properties acquired through a voluntary property buyout program. The work includes identifying and documenting friable and non-friable asbestos-containing materials and suspected hazardous waste, collecting samples, quantifying materials, and recommending removal and disposal methods. Actual abatement and demolition are excluded. A survey report with photographs and information needed for the Kentucky asbestos notification form must be emailed within six days after each inspection. Bidders must provide proof of active federal SAM registration, insurance policies, and the inspector’s license and Kentucky accreditation. The procurement portal also requires three client references and completion of its bid table and certifications.
