Description
Letcher County Fiscal Court seeks demolition contractors for six potential disaster-acquisition properties. Work includes site preparation, stripping structures, demolition, removal and lawful disposal or recycling of debris, and grading, seeding, and mulching. The number of properties awarded is not guaranteed; awards are made per property. Contractors are responsible for disposal costs and must provide required disposal records and photographs. The scope also includes applicable utility, septic, and well-related work, safety measures, permits, and restoration. Bidders must submit a 10% bid bond or cashier’s check, proof of required insurance, active federal SAM registration, three references, and other required portal responses and documents. The solicitation states that all demolition work must be performed by the contractor’s employees.
