Description
The U.S. Navy requires onsite, rolling refurbishment services for trailer tires and rims across nine shipyard generator trailers. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, and equipment to remove eight wheel assemblies per trailer, dismount and legally dispose of old tires, hand over bare rims to shipyard personnel for refurbishment, mount new tires onto government-provided new or refurbished rims, and reinstall and torque the completed wheel assemblies. Services will be performed on an on-call basis, generally approximately every two weeks, with at least 48 hours' notice for each service day; each trailer must be completed within one eight-hour workday. The Government will provide the rims and tires and will handle rim transportation, blasting, and painting. The resulting firm-fixed-price service covers nine jobs during the stated period of performance, from September 14, 2026, through September 13, 2027. Contractor personnel must be U.S. citizens and obtain required installation access credentials. The contractor must also comply with applicable safety, environmental, security, tire-disposal, and cybersecurity requirements, including maintaining CMMC Level 1 status before award and throughout contract performance.
