Description
Pacific Air Forces is seeking a small unmanned aircraft system to demonstrate drone delivery of mission-essential medical supplies, including Class VIII medical materiel and blood, in austere locations. The system must comply with applicable Department of Defense unmanned-aircraft acquisition restrictions, support autonomous or programmable operation and vertical takeoff and landing, carry payloads up to 65 kg within the specified dimensions, and provide up to 30 km of range on a removable battery. The requirement includes spare batteries and chargers, a standard spare-parts kit, control and programming software, any required non-standard control hardware, detailed user and maintenance manuals, component inventory lists, routine maintenance support, and training for personnel in drone operation and maintenance. Delivery is required within 180 days, or six months, after contract award. Funds are not presently available, and award is contingent on funding availability.
